Gau. HC: Presence of Arbitration Clause Will Not Bar Civil Court’s Jurisdiction - 03.02.2025

Gauhati High Court has held that the mere presence of arbitration clause in an agreement will not bar the jurisdiction of civil court but the same shall be subject to Section 8 of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
