Delhi. HC: Can’t Delegate Trial Court’s Obligation to Compute and Award Victim Compensation to DSLSA - 27.01.2025

Delhi High Court has held that the Trial Court’ obligation to compute and award quantum of victim compensation cannot be passed on to the Delhi State Legal Services Authority Statutory Authority (DSLSA) as it would be contrary under Section 357 of CrPC.
