SC Proposes Appointment of Ad-Hoc Judges Due to High Pendency of Criminal Cases - 22.01.2025

Supreme Court has suggested appointment of ad-hoc judges in High Courts due to high pendency of criminal cases in several High Courts. The Court further proposed modification of its earlier judgment in Lok Prahari Vs. Union of India (UOI) and Ors.( MANU/SC/0296/2021
; 2021 INSC 261).
