SC: Arresting Accused Once Chargesheet is Filed and Cognizance is Taken is Unusual - 21.01.2025

Supreme Court while deprecating the practice of police arresting an accused once chargesheet has been filed and cognizance has been taken, has termed the practice as ‘unusual’ and that such practice does not make any sense.
