Delhi HC Rules in Favour of ‘India Gate’ Brand in Trademark Infringement Suit - 20.01.2025

Delhi High Court has ruled in favour “India Gate” brand of basmati rice in a trademark infringement suit filed by KRBL Limited against “Bharat Gate” brand selling basmati rice. The Court noted that both the brands are phonetically similar and convey the same idea.
