Guru Teg Bahadur Kalsa college gets nod to continue with admissions

Delhi High Court allowed Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College to continue admitting students under minority status.

Petitioners had filed applications to ensure that the College continued to provide reservation to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category students.

The court assuaged Petitioners’ fears that the college would use admissions under minority status as a ground to oppose the petition. It added that any fresh appointment of teachers would be subject to the final orders by the courts, and that persons appointed would have to be informed of the same.
