SC: States Have Enough Money to Give Freebies but Claim Financial Crunch While Paying Judges - 08.01.2025

Supreme Court while hearing a petition filed in 2015 by the All India Judges Association, has remarked that the States seem to have sufficient money to provide freebies to individuals who don’t work but claim financial hardship while paying salaries and pensions to judges of District Judiciary.
