‘One Nation, One Election’ Bill Introduced in Lok Sabha - 18.12.2024

Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has introduced the Constitution 129th Amendment Bill, 2024 as well as the Union Territories Laws Amendment Bill, 2024 in the Lok Sabha. The two bills aim at achieving simultaneous elections across States, Union Territories with the General elections.
