UGC Amended Regulation Not Binding on State Univ. Affiliated Institutions Without State Adoption - 10.12.2024

SC has held that amended UGC or AICTE regulations that raise the age of retirement to 65 years do not apply to institutions affiliated to State Universities where the State Government has opted not to adopt those regulations. Such institutions must follow the retirement age followed in the State.
