MP HC: While Hearing Bail Plea of Juvenile, Gravity of Offence Shouldn’t be Considered - 20.09.2024

MP HC has held that the main object of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children), Act, 2015 is to treat the juvenile offender with utmost care and caution. The gravity of offence should not be taken into consideration while considering his application for grant of bail.
