SC: Centre Made Party to Interpret the Word ‘Person’ Under Consumer Protection Act - 19.09.2024

Supreme Court while hearing a issue whether charitable trust can be considered a “consumer”, has made the Union of India a party in the case for assistance in interpretation of the word ‘person’ under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
