Death Penalty Execution: SC to Lay Down Procedure to Avoid Delays Once Mercy Petition is Rejected - 09.09.2024

Supreme Court has stated that, in order to avoid delay in execution of the sentence, it shall lay down the procedure required to be followed by the state and the judiciary once mercy petition of a convict has been rejected.
