SC to State Govts.: Implement S 136A of MV Act for Electronic Monitoring & Enforcement of Road Safety - 03.09.2024

SC has issued directions to all state governments to take immediate steps to implement Section 136A of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (MV Act), which provides for the electronic monitoring & enforcement of road safety and issue challans on the basis of footage from electronic enforcement devices.
