SC: In Matters of Regularization of Service, Decision-Making Authority Can’t Act on its Whims - 23.08.2024

SC while dealing with the issue of regularization of services of an Assistant Professor, has observed that the discretion vested in the Executive Council should be exercised in a fair and non-arbitrary manner. It cannot be based on the whim and caprice of the decision-making authority.
