Gujarat High Court Dismisses PIL Seeking Usage of Gujarati Language in Courts - 22.08.2024

Gujarat High Court has dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) that sought the usage of Gujarati language in courts across the State. The Court stated that there is fundamental right to speak a language but there is no fundamental right for use of a particular language in an institution.
