Calcutta High Court Transfers Kolkata Doctor’s Rape-Murder Case to CBI - 14.08.2024

Cal. HC has transferred the case of rape and murder of 2nd year PG medical student to CBI. The Court held that since there has been no significant progress in the investigation, Court would be justified in accepting prayers by the victim's parents that evidence would be destroyed.
