Bom. HC: There is a Rampant Misuse of Section 498A of IPC - 08.08.2024

Bom. HC while raising concerns regarding misuse of Section 498-A of IPC, 1860, has stated that they do have sympathy for victim of the crime but fact remains that the provision is being misused. There are cases where even bedridden members of the family are also impleaded and have to face trial.
