SC Expresses ‘Pain’ Over Statement Made by HC Judge While Criticizing Stay Order Passed by SC - 07.08.2024

Supreme Court after taking suo motu cognizance of the order passed by Punjab & Haryana High Court criticizing the stay order passed by SC, has stated that it is deeply pained by the observations made by the single judge as such observations tend to bring the entire judicial machinery into disrepute.
