SC Refuses PIL to Direct Union and States to Take Action Against Superstition and Sorcery Practices - 03.08.2024

SC has refused to entertain a Public Interest Litigation seeking direction upon the Union and States to take action against practices of sorcery and superstition in the country. The Court observed that to control these practices it is important to educate citizens and develop a ‘scientific temper’.
