SC: Directors Can’t be Vicariously Liable for Offence of Company Unless their Involvement Shown - 03.08.2024

Supreme Court has held that directors of a company cannot be made vicariously liable for offence committed by the company under the National Housing Bank Act, 1987 unless specific averments that the directors were responsible for the business of the company at the time of the offence, are made.
