Karnataka High Court: ‘Once a Forest, Always a Forest’ Should Operate as Thumb Rule - 01.08.2024

Kar. HC while setting aside Trial Court’s order declaring private persons to be owners of a land, has observed that ‘once a forest, always a forest’ should operate as Thumb Rule, in days when forests are fast depleting with unprecedented acceleration because of population growth & allied factors.
