SC: Min. of Consumer Affairs Shouldn’t Wait for Complaints to Take Action Against Misleading Ads - 31.07.2024

SC while hearing the case related to misleading ads by Patanjali, has observed that action by Ministry of Consumer Affairs against misleading advertisements was only taken when there were complaints but the fact that there is no complaint, does not mean that the Ministry should not take any action.
