Ker. HC: Settlement of Cases Including Offence of Rape & POCSO Act Offences is Not Permissible - 26.07.2024

Ker. HC has held that settlement of cases including offence of rape and POCSO Act offences is not permissible under law. However, if accused marries the victim and both of them live happily there would be no necessity to continue criminal proceedings so as to retain them in hazards of litigation.
