Supreme Court: NGT to Ensure Lawful Grant of Environmental Clearence - 26.07.2024

SC while setting aside NGT's order allowing establishment of a Common Biomedical Waste Treatment Facility, has observed that it is NGT’s duty to satisfy itself that all conditions for grant of environment clearance are complied with and to ensure that environment clearance is lawfully granted.
