Madras High Court: Investigation Under PMLA Against Private Contractors, Stopped - 18.07.2024

Madras High Court has stopped the Enforcement Directorate from investigating in an alleged illegal sand mining case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 and observed that the very action to initiate proceedings under the PMLA is without any basis.
