Bom. HC: Sanction from Appropriate Govt. Required for Taking Cognizance & Not for Filing Chargesheet - 17.07.2024

Bombay High Court has observed that an extension of time for filing the chargesheet on the ground of lack of sanction from the appropriate government cannot be sought by Investigating Agency as sanction is required for taking cognizance and not for filing chargesheet.
