SC: Fine Imposed on Mercedes Benz for Deficiency of Service & Unfair Trade Practice, Upheld - 11.07.2024

SC has upheld the fine of Rs. 10 Lakhs imposed on Mercedes Benz India Private Limited for deficiency of service and unfair trade practice on the ground that the defect in the car was established as the frontal airbags did not deploy even though the driver had already fastened the seat belt.
