SC: Parties Challenging Arbitral Award after Limitation Period Can’t Seek Benefit u/s 4 of Limitation - 11.07.2024

Supreme Court has restated that a party challenging an arbitral award beyond the limitation period of three months by using 30 day extension period given under Section 34(3) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 cannot avail the benefit of Section 4 of Limitation Act, 1963.
