All. HC: Offences Can be Tried by Court Within Whose Juris. First Wife Takes Up Permanent Residence - 10.07.2024

Allahabad High Court has held that offences punishable under Sections 494 and 495 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 can be tried by those courts within whose jurisdiction the first wife has taken up permanent residence.
