SC: Suspension of Sentence Can Only be Granted if it is Apparent that Conviction is Unsustainable - 08.07.2024

Supreme Court has observed that in the case of life imprisonment, suspension of such sentence can only be granted if it prima facie appears that the conviction of accused is unsustainable and that the accused has high chances of succeeding in appeal against the conviction.
