Allahabad HC: In Consensual Relationships, POCSO Act Being Misused Against Teenagers - 05.07.2024

Allahabad High Court has observed that while the POCSO Act’s primary objective is to protect children under the age of majority from sexual exploitation, there are cases where it has been misused, particularly in consensual romantic relationships between teenage persons.
