Meg HC: Forgiveness from Victim Can’t be Used as a Ground to Quash FIR in Serious Offences Like Rape - 03.07.2024

Meghalaya High Court has held that to quash an FIR against an accused in serious offences like rape, forgiveness from the victim towards the accused and wishing to not continue proceedings against the accused cannot be used as a ground.
