SC: Can’t Call Vacancy Arising Due to Elevation of Judge as Anticipated Vacancy - 26.06.2024

Supreme Court while refusing to interfere with HP High Court’s judgement that refused promotion to a judicial officer to a vacancy that arose after the elevation of District Judge, has observed that vacancy arising out of elevation cannot be called anticipated vacancy.
