Ker. HC: Emp. Messaging in Pvt. Whatsapp Group About Safety of Company Doesn’t Attract Disc. Proc. - 21.06.2024

Kerala High Court has held that an employee sending messages on a private WhatsApp group regarding the safety of company cannot attract disciplinary proceedings against him and such a charge infringes an employee's right to freedom of speech guaranteed under Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution.
