All. HC: Without Magistrate’s Permission, Investigation into Non-Cognizable Offence Illegal - 19.06.2024

Allahabad High Court has held that investigation into a non-cognizable offence without a written order of the Magistrate is strictly contrary to the provision of Section 155(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
