Ker. HC: Police Officials Can't Be Prosecuted Without Govt's Sanction for Act Done During Duty - 17.06.2024

Kerala High Court has held that police officials cannot be prosecuted for an act done while discharging their official duty without taking sanction from the government under Section 197 CrPC, even if such alleged act involves manhandling or detaining persons illegally.
