Punjab and Haryana High Court: Can’t Base Rules for Recruitment on Political Agenda - 05.06.2024

P&H HC while setting aside rules for recruitment of Group C and D posts which provided for additional five percent marks under socio-economic criteria to individuals having domicile of the state, has observed that rules have to be framed on the basis of actual data and not on political agenda.
