SC: Can’t Treat Prosecution’s Version as Gospel Truth in POCSO Cases - 24.05.2024

SC has observed that merely, because Section 29 of the POCSO Act provides for a statutory presumption of guilt of the accused, the same does not bind Courts to accept prosecution version as gospel truth and discretion in relation to grant of bail is still to be exercised considering facts of case.
