All. HC: Collector Being Quasi-Judicial Authority Has No Statutory Power to Review/Recall Order - 21.05.2024

All HC has held that Collector (Stamp) cannot recall or review his own order as no such power has been conferred under Section 47-A of Indian Stamp Act, 1899. A quasi-judicial authority is limited in its functionality and has to act within four corners of statute from which it derives its authority.
