Madras High Court: Guidelines Issued to Eradicate Manual Scavenging - 01.05.2024

Mad. HC while issuing guidelines to eradicate manual scavenging, has observed that an act like this is nothing less than State-sanctioned casteism and forcing work upon a person as against his health, dignity and that of his family despite there being machinery available needs to be done away with.
