Del. HC: ED Cannot Invoke Section 50 of PMLA Against Citizens Who Aren’t Suspects - 01.05.2024

Del. HC while bashing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for invoking Section 50 of Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA) to record statements of private parties, has held that as an agency answerable to the law and the courts, the Enforcement Directorate cannot arrogate powers unto itself.
