Del. HC: Police Protection Granted to Transgender Person for Filing Nominations for Lok Sabha Polls - 01.05.2024

Del. HC while granting police protection to a transgender person for filing nominations for Lok Sabha election, has observed that any discrimination on ground of sexual orientation or gender identity violates Article 14 of the Constitution of India and duty lies on the State to protect such rights.
