Chh. HC: Can’t Build Matrimonial Home With Bricks & Stones, Love & Respect Between Spouses Required - 27.04.2024

Chhattisgarh High Court while dismissing the wife’s plea of divorce under Sections 13(1)(i-a) and 13(1)(i-b) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, has observed that a matrimonial home cannot be made with bricks and stones, love, respect and care are essential elements to lay its foundation.
