Bombay High Court: Can’t Use Senior Citizenship Act as Machinery to Settle Property Disputes - 11.04.2024

Bom. HC has held that provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 cannot be used as machinery for settling property disputes between heirs of senior citizens and it should be ensured that the provision is not misused by children who are denied share in properties.
