SC: Commercial Transactions Not Within the Purview of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 - 08.04.2024

Supreme Court has held that commercial disputes cannot be decided in summary proceedings under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 but the appropriate remedy for recovery of the amount, if any, would be before the Civil Court.
