Madras High Court: Party Wanting to Abandon Claim Cannot be Compelled to Continue Case - 01.04.2024

Madras High Court while allowing the State of Tamil Nadu to withdraw cases, has observed that when a party wasn’t to abandon a case without reserving any rights cannot be compelled by the court to pursue the same.
