Bom HC: Detention Under MCOCA Must be Terminated if Competent Authority Denies Sanction to Prosecute - 01.04.2024

Bombay High Court has held that once the competent authority declines to grant sanction under Sec. 23(2) of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crimes Act, 1999 (MCOCA), the extended period for completion of investigation, would terminate on the day, competent authority declines to grant sanction.
