Supreme Court Refuses to Stay Election Commissioners' Act - 26.03.2024

Supreme Court while deciding the batch of pleas has refused to stay the Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioners Act, 2023, which removes the Chief Justice of India from the selection panel appointing election commissioners.
