CESTAT: Demand of Excise Duty Not Payable on Waste and Scrap Packing Material if Travels Beyond SCN - 22.03.2024

Mumbai Bench of Customs, Excise, and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) has held that no excise duty is supposed to be paid on waste and scrap packing material of inputs if demand travels beyond Show-Cause Notice (SCN).
