Practice of ‘Rubber Stamp Cognizance’ Deprecated by Madras High Court - 21.03.2024

Madras HC has criticized District Judiciary for practicing rubber stamp cognizance and stated that if cognizance is taken through a rubber stamp cognizance order Court will call for an explanation which is in view of the fact that such an order is in violation of the order passed by the Apex Court.
